You Are Part Of The Body

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18

Every part of our body has an important part to play. Every finger is important, every organ is important and there is not one part more important than the others. However, there is only one head and that is where all the other parts of the body get their directions. As we are a part of the body of Christ each of us are important to the body. Not one of us is more important than the other, and just like our natural bodies, the body of Christ only has one head, and He is the head. The Scripture reminds us that, he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have preeminence. I encourage you today to know that you are an important part of the body of Christ. Your giftedness is unique, and God wants you to use them to enhance the body of Christ. When you do not know what to do, you can always look to the head of the body who continue to bless you in all things. I am grateful that The Lord saved my life and because He did, I am part of the body of Christ, and I know that He is the head and leads and guides me in all things. Since I am being led by the Head of the body, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord thank you for including me in the body. Help me to use what you have given me to bring you glory, honor and praise. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
