You Are Blessed

“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! 23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.” Luke 6:22-23 (ESV)

There are good people in the world, and they do their best to share goodness wherever they go. There are also some bad people in the world who will do everything they can to make sure that good things do not happen for others. Since we are children of God, there are going to be those who will do all they can to put roadblocks and challenges in our way to stop and block us from getting to the place that God has for us. Although it is difficult to navigate these challenges, Scripture reminds us that these are signs that we are blessed. When people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man, you are blessed. I encourage you today to remember that the challenges that you face are not an indication of not being blessed, but they are a sign that you are blessed. When people hate, exclude, and talk about you, I encourage you today to rejoice in The Lord because you are on The Lord’s side. Rejoice in those moments of being put down and left out. Rejoice in those moments of being talked about and lied on, because you know that God is with you and you are getting close to your destiny. Do not allow the noise of others to block your blessing, keep. Serving and praising God, because He is with you. I will remember that no matter what I face or what anyone says about me, I am blessed by God. Since I will rejoice and leap for joy always, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for giving me reasons to rejoice every day. I will not focus on what others says about me, because you said that I am blessed and you are with me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
