Withholding Nothing

“You have given him his heart's desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah” Psalm 21:2

Each of us have people in our lives we love, and we want the best for them, and we will try to give them our very best. The same way we love those in our lives, The Lord loves us so much He wants to give us His very best. Most of us have encountered a time when you knew someone wanted something from us, but they just did not know how to ask for it. We do the same thing to The Lord, we come to Him and beat around the bush and He knows exactly what we want, and He is just waiting for us to ask, so He can give us the desires of our heart. The Scripture reminds us, you have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. I encourage you today to take everything to The Lord in prayer. Prayer changes things and it can change you as well, do not be afraid to ask The Lord for what you want. You may think The Lord does not want to or is not willing to grant your request, but The Lord loves you and He wants to give you the desires of your heart. When you are dedicated and committed to The Lord, there is not one request coming from you He will hold back. Pray when things are good and pray when things are not so good. Pray when you think you know how things will work out and pray when you have no clue how things are going to work out. Pray knowing The Lord will work everything out in your favor. I am thankful the Lord answers my prayers and His love for me is everlasting. Since I know I can ask The Lord for the desires of my heart, and He will give them to me in His time, I can confidently say, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for hearing me when I pray. Thank you for not withholding any good thing from me. Thank you for loving me so much that you are always with me and always taking care of me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
