What Are You Thinking About?

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4:8

It would be impossible for us to number all the things that we think about in a day. There is always something going on in the course of our day that will cause us to need to think. We need to think about what we are going to wear, eat, and even if we are going to go to work, and once there what are we going to do. Each of us make decisions every day, some of them are difficult decisions and some of them not so difficult. If we are not careful, we can get caught up thinking about the negative things going on around us and miss all the great things happening to us. We should not allow the negative things in our lives to consume most of our thoughts. The Scripture reminds us that, whatsoever things are true, honest, lovely, of a good report, and if there be any virtue or praise in them to think on these things. I encourage you today not to allow the negative or the bad things that you are facing to consume your every thought process that you cannot see the good things that The Lord is doing in your life. As you go throughout this day whatsoever things are honest, true, lovely, pure, and of a good report think on those things. Think about the things that are worthy of praise going on in your life and then thank and praise The Lord for them. Think about how good The Lord has been to you, and think about how He has blessed you and how He has kept you. Think about where The Lord has brought you from and where He is bringing you to. Think about the manifold blessings The Lord has poured into your life. It is easy to see the bad, but it is much better to see the great things The Lord is doing in your life, and if there be any virtue or praise in them think on those things today. The Lord is doing some amazing things in my life, and instead of thinking about the hurdles, I will think about the blessings. Since I will keep my mind stayed on the great things The Lord is doing for me, I know can boldly proclaim, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, for every blessing, every way made, every door opened, Lord I will think on those things today. Lord, I will not think about the challenges, the hurdles, the storms and trials and the tribulations, instead I will think about your goodness, grace, mercy and love towards me. Thank you, Lord for all that you’re doing in my life, thank you Lord for always being here for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
