Well Able
November 07, 2023
“But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30 (ESV)
Many people take on the daunting task of trying to climb the highest mountains in the world. They take the time to train and prepare their bodies for the extreme temperature changes and the thinness of the air at high altitudes. There are those who train a lifetime for the opportunity to climb the world’s biggest and tallest mountains, and even with all their training, some fall short and are not able to overcome the obstacles of the mountain. In life we are going to have mountains that we are going to have to climb, and we will face challenges in trying to reach our goals, but we must remember that we are never alone, because The Lord is always with us. The Scripture reminds us that there were giants in the land that God promised the children of Israel. Some of the people believed that they could not defeat the giants, but Caleb and Joshua knew that with God on their side they could win. Caleb said, “let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it.” I encourage you today that you are well able to overcome those obstacles and mountains in your life, because you are not alone. You are well able to press your way through the fears and doubts of life, because you are not alone. There is no need to hesitate when you know that God is with you to help you navigate the challenge, obstacles, and mountains in your life. With fain in God, you are well able to overcome. All my trust in in God, and no matter the size of the mountain that I face, I know that I am well able to overcome it, because God is on my side. Since I know that I am well able to overcome all things because God is with me, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord than you for always being with me, and giving me the ability to overcome the challenges that re in front of me. There is no mountain that I cannot climb with you on my side. Thank you Lord for all you have done and are doing in my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
