Walk By Faith
September 16, 2025
For we walk by faith, not by sight. (ESV)
For many of us we want to go in a direction that will lead us to a positive place. We want to set goals and benchmarks to reach as we progress on the road of life. The older we become the more direction and focus we want to have in our lives. We have less time for games and things that will not lead us to reaching our goals, and we become more focused on our journey. If we are truly going to reach the place that The Lord has for us, we need to have Him to lead us and trust that He will lead us in the right direction. The Scripture reminds us that, we walk by faith, not by sight. I encourage you today to remember that you walk by faith, not by sight. Many places The Lord is leading you, you may not understand why He is taking you the way that He is taking you, but because you are walking by faith, you keep walking in the direction He is taking you, because you know He will never lead you wrong. When you walk by sight you go down the path that you feel is better for you, the one that looks good to you, and many times that is not the path that The Lord has for you, because what may look good to us, may not be what God has for us. When you walk by faith, you are saying that you trust The Lord completely, and wherever He leads you, you will go. Walking by faith is not always easy to do, but it is necessary for you to be able to get to the place that God has for you. It may not always be easy, but I will always walk by faith because I know that The Lord will never lead me wrong. Since I am determined to walk by faith, and not by sight, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, I need you to lead and guide me today. Open only the doors you want me to go through. Close every door that you have not designed for me to go through. Speak to my heart, soul, and mind today that I will walk in your path. Lord, I completely trust you and I know that you will never lead me or steer me in the wrong direction. Thank you Lord for bringing me to the place of my blessed destiny in you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
