Treasures In Heaven

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:" Matthew 6:19

In the height of the pandemic there was a shortage of paper goods in many communities. Some people panicked and began stock piling paper goods in case they ran out. In stockpiling these items, it left others without. Others stocked their homes with all the disinfectant they could find, all because they did not want to run out. If we are not careful, we can do the same thing spiritually and focus more on the temporal things in life and not the spiritual things of God. The Scripture reminds us, lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust does corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. I encourage you today to focus on the things that The Lord has for you. Do not concern yourself with stockpiling earthy things while your spiritual stockpile is depleted. Focus on those treasures that The Lord has prepared for you and you will see the favor of The Lord work miracles in your life. I am determined to store up treasures in heaven that are more valuable than treasures on earth. Since I am focusing on the things that The Lord has for me, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for all the blessings you have in store for me. Help me to focus on the path that you have for me, because I know you have greatness in store for my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
