Things Fail

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God." Psalm 20:7 (ESV)

We place our trust in many things that we may not even realize that we put our trust in. We trust daily that when we sit in our favorite chair it is going to be able to hold us another time. A carpenter who is working on a project trust that his measurements are correct and that their tools that will be able to get the job done. Many of us trust that our vehicles will be able to get us from one point to another point. Some will even trust that when trouble comes their way, they will have the necessary intellect to get them out trouble, and if not they will have the right connections to get them out of the trouble. We place our trust in many things, and all of those things we place our trust in can and have failed at one time or another. It is only when we put our total trust in The Lord that we can know for sure that the trouble will not last always. The Scripture reminds us that, some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. I encourage you today not to put your trust in things that have the ability to fail, but put all of trust in The Lord your God who never fails. The Lord has never failed you, even when you felt like He was not there for you, He has always came through for you right on time. When you place all your trust in The Lord you should never worry about how things look right now, because you trust God, you already know that it is going to work out just like He wants it to work out for you. There are going to be times when it will be difficult to see what God is doing, but you have to have enough faith in God that you know that He knows what He is doing. When you put your trust in people and things, you are going to only be able to go as far as they can take you, but when your trust in in The Lord you know for yourself that He will take you all the way to the victory in your life. Since all my trust is in The Lord, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, all my trust is in you. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for never failing me and thank you for always being faithful to me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
