The Power Of Faith

"That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." 1 Corinthians 2:5

If we took a moment to think about it, we have faith in many things. We have faith in people who sometimes let us down. We have faith in automobiles, that can break down at the most inopportune time. We have faith in things that do not work right when we need them to. We have faith in computers that at times makes our lives easier and at other times makes our lives more difficult. While we constantly put our faith in things and people who consistently fail us, yet we struggle to have faith in God who never fails us. The Scripture reminds us that, our faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. I encourage you today to remember your faith is not in what people think it is, but your faith is in the power of God. People can tell you what faith should look like, and they can tell you what faith is to them, but you must know for yourself that true faith rest in the power of God. You do not need anyone to tell you how to have faith in God, you know for yourself how He has kept you, and how He has been there for you when no one else was there. People can come up with all types of descriptions of what faith is or is not, but you know your faith is in the power of God. You may not be able to explain your faith to people, but you know that your faith is powerful because it comes from God. I know that everyone may not understand my faith, but what I do know is that my faith stands in the power of God. Since I know there is power in having faith in God, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord all my faith is in you. No matter how difficult things may look, I know that you will come through for me. My power does not come from people or things, my power comes from my faith in you that all things will work for my good and your glory. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
