The Lord Will Provide

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.” Psalm 23:1 (NLT)

There are things that we all need at some point in life. When we are in need, we will do whatever is necessary to meet the needs that we have. In trying to fulfill our needs there are times when in spite of all that we do we are not able to fulfill the needs on our own, and we must rely on others to help us with what we need. There are times when others can help and there are times when they cannot, and we are once again left to fend for ourselves. No matter if we can do it ourselves or know someone who can help us, our first thought should be that when we are in need, to go to The Lord for what we want and need. The Scripture reminds us, The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. I encourage you today to remember that The Lord is your shepherd and there is not anything that you need that He cannot provide. All your life The Lord has been providing for you and taking care of you, even when you didn’t know that it was His hand that opened all the doors for you. The Lord is your shepherd, He will continue to provide and take care of you, if you would only go to Him in faith, knowing that He will provide your every need. There has not been a time in my life that The Lord has not taken care of and provided for me. The Lord is my shepherd and I have everything I need and more. Since The Lord is my shepherd and He provides for my every need every day, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for everything that you provide for me. Every day you take care of every one of my needs and my wants. Thank you for being my shepherd and for always taking care of and loving me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
