The Good Shepherd

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John‬ ‭10‬:‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

We all have had parents or others in our lives who made great sacrifices so we could be where we are in this station of life. They made the sacrifice so that our lives would be better than the lives they had, they were determined that we would have better and do better, so they made the sacrifices they had to so we could go to school or achieve other things. Jesus came to make a sacrifice for us, because He wanted our lives to be better and He knew that our lives were completely lost without Him, making the ultimate sacrifice by giving His life for ours on Calvary. The Good Shepherd laid down His life for each of us. The Scripture reminds us, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. I encourage you today to remember that you have a good shepherd who has already demonstrated that He will lay down His life for you. No matter what you are facing today, the Good Shepherd is there with and for you and will lead and guide you in the pastures that He has for you. I know that The Lord is my Good Shepherd and He always takes care of me. Since I know that Good Shepherd is leading and guiding my life, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord thank you for being my Good Shepherd and laying down your life for mine. Thank you for loving and caring for me always. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
