The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way;” Psalm 37:23 (ESV)

A toddler pays close attention to their parents. They watch everything they do and for the most part and will try to mimic their parents. As a toddler is growing and trying to navigate the world, they want to explore everything. As we are growing in God, we must do all that we can to mimic our Father and to follow Him as we try to navigate our world. The Scripture reminds us, the steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way. I encourage you today to allow The Lord to order your steps. Let The Lord be your guide in everything that you do. Let The Lord lead and guide you to those places that He has for you. When you allow The Lord to order and establish your steps, you already know that He will bring you to great places. Not every path God leads you down will be smooth, but you have the assurance that through it all He will be with you. As a parent celebrates a child’s first steps, when you walk in the way of The Lord, He is delighted in you. I am determined to follow the path that God has for me. I want every step that I take to be ordered by God. Since God is guiding my steps in the paths that He has for me, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for ordering my steps. Thank you for guiding me to places and spaces that you have designed for me. Even when the path is not smooth, I still will follow you because I know that you have greatness in store for my life. Lord forgive me for trying to establish my own path. Thank you for being patient with me on the road of life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
