Stay Focused

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

We have all heard the saying, "the devil is always busy." This is so true, there is not a time when the enemy does not try to take us down, and knock us off our course. The enemy is crafty, and he will do whatever it takes to get to us and make sure we do not serve or do the will of God. The enemy will try all types of maneuvers to stop us form getting closer to The Lord and to the place The Lord has for us, and we vigilant to stay on course. The Scripture reminds us that we need to be sober, and vigilant because the devil is walking around seeking whom he may devour. I encourage you today to make sure you are getting closer to The Lord everyday. Make sure you are not allowing the enemy to take your focus off of The Lord. The devil will try to use co-workers, family members, friends and all other things to take your focus off of The Lord and put them on your problems. The devil is walking around like a roaring lion trying to see who he can take out and take down. You have to remain aware and determined that none of his tricks will work, and your focus will remain on The Lord no matter how tough things may get. Remain sober by spending time with The Lord and when you do, you will come from His presence more determined to stay free than ever before. Life is not always easy, but do not ever give up because the devil does not give up. I am staying close to The Lord no matter what, and since I am I know fore sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, I know that the enemy does not want me to succeed, but I know the plan that you have for me is greater than the attempts of the enemy to stop or block me from my purpose. Thank you Lord for always keeping me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
