Stay Connected
March 30, 2026
"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing." John 15:5
One of the wonderful things about spring is the trees begin to bud again. All winter long the tree branches went barren without leaves, but springtime brings froth the sun and warmer weather and the leaves begin to bud again. Some branches did not make it through the winter and have fallen and are now dead, and cannot produce any more leaves because they are not connected to the tree. Many of us go through seasons in our lives, some good and some not so good. No matter the season it is important for us to stay connect to our tree which is Christ if we are going to make it the various seasons of life. The Scripture reminds us that Jesus proclaimed, I am the vine and you are the branches and if you will stay connected to Me then you will bring forth much fruit, and without Me you cannot do anything. I encourage you today to stay connected to Christ. You may be going through a rough season right now in your life, but just remember you are not by yourself, you are connected to the One who will see you through this season. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, you will make it. It may be tough and rough, but you can make it. When you are connected to Christ you will produce great things, but when you fall away from Him, you find yourself weak and barely making it. Without Christ there is not one thing you can do, but you can do great things with Him. Stay connected. Come what will, come what may in life, I am going to stay connected to Christ, and since I am connected to the Branch, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, I am grateful and thankful that I can stay connected to you through every season of my life. No matter how difficult life may become I am determined to hold on to you through it all. Thank you, Lord, for never letting go of me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
