Stand In The Gap
March 11, 2024
“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” Ezekiel 22:30
As we are in this time of fasting and praying it can be easy to pray for the things that we need and those that are close to us. In our prayers we should not only pray for those who are close to us, but we should be able to pray for those we meet going through out daily routines, and to pray for those who The Lord places on your heart. The Scripture reminds us, I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that
I should not destroy it: but I found none. I encourage you today to be the person who will stand in the gap for someone else today. Let your prayers be primarily for someone who you know is in need of prayer today. Stand in the gap for someone who you know may need some extra strength to stand in the time of storms. When you stand in the gap for them, God will not only strengthen them, but God will strengthen you. I am determined to stand in the gap today for someone who may need The Lord’s strengths to get through this day. Since I will stand in the gap today, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord thank you for all your blessings in my life, today bless someone who is ready to give up and throw in the towel. Let your presence be in someone’s life today who needs to know you are
there for them. I love you Lord, In Jesus Name Amen.
