Speak Life
December 24, 2023
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” Proverbs 18:31
It is important to be mindful about what we say. Once we say something it is impossible to get it back. Words can be used to tear down or to lift somebody up. Often it is not what we say that matters, it is how we say what we say. Words are powerful, and the tongue is sharp and can cut like you would not believe and it can also bring comfort to the most hopeless situation. The Scripture reminds us that, death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. I encourage you today to use your tongue to bring life and not death. Use the power of your tongue to speak life into your situations. When you are going through and say things are impossible and you cannot do it, you have just given in, and you will not be able to do anything. I encourage you today to take can't out of your vocabulary. Speak life into every dead situation in your life. Speak positive to yourself and to those around you. Speak words of affirmation to yourself every day. No matter how much you may be going through or how low the clouds may be hanging in your life, learn to speak life. No matter how bad yesterday was you must speak to yourself and tell yourself, today is going to be a good day. Do not allow people or anything else to convince you that you cannot make it. I pray every good thing The Lord has for you would be manifested in your life today, and the goodness, mercy, and grace of God would come shining through every dark place in your life, and you would see the light of The Lord shining bright on you today. I have decided that I will speak life into every situation I may be facing, and because I will use the power of my tongue to speak life, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord today I speak life into every situation that I face. No matter how dark or grim it may look, I know you will always make a way for me. Thank you Lord for always being with me and shining your light of love on me every day. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
