Seek Peace

"Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it." Psalm 34:14

In life we are going to pursue many things, we will pursue career choices, and will do all that we can to make sure that we are successful in that pursuit. Some will pursue after a dream, and will not stop until they live out that dream, and others will spend a lifetime pursuing the things that make them happy. In our pursuit of temporal things there are going to be some challenges in reaching our goal, but those challenges should never stop us from going forward. For some of us our pursuit is a constant desire to have a closer a relationship with The Lord, and each day we take the time to pursue Him by reading our Word and seeking Him in prayer and trying to live the best life we can for Him. No matter what it is that we are pursuing in our lives, we should always have a mindset that we will achieve it. The Scripture reminds us that we should, depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. I encourage you today to seek peace and pursue after it daily. There are going to be times in your life when the storms will rage, but seek and purse after peace. There are going to be valley experiences in your life, still seek peace and pursue it. There are going to be sunny days and rainy days and there are going to be times when it feels like everything is falling apart around you all at the same time, still seek the peace of The Lord and pursue after it. When you find the peace of The Lord the things that you are facing are not as bad as you once thought because of the peace of The Lord. The pursuit of peace may not always be easy, but it is worth the journey. Trials will come in my life, and there will be some things that I will have to go through, but through it all I will do good, seek His peace and pursue after it until I find it. Since I am in hot pursuit of The Lord’s peace, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord than you for your peace. I will continue ally seek your peace and pursue after it. I now that when I have your peace working in my life hat no matter what it is that I am facing, everything will be all right. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
