Safety Under His Wings

“He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.” Psalm 91:4 (ESV)

We have all seen a child who will cling to their parent and not let go no matter what. They will follow their parent wherever they go, not wanting to let go or have the parent to be out of their sight. They do this because they trust the parent will keep them safe from everything and everyone. In the same way those who of us who are children of God should cling to Him and never want to let go. We should never want to allow God to get too far out of our sight. The Scripture reminds us, He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. I encourage you today to allow The Lord to cover you with His feathers and trust that He will hide you under His wing. Just as a mother bird is protective over her babies, The Lord is protective over you. The Lord will cover you no matter what it is you are going through. When things get rough and you do not know how to handle them, allow The Lord to cover you with His feathers and shield you from all hurt harm and danger. When storms of life come your way, do not fret and do not fear find safety under the wings of The Lord. When your enemy comes against you, remember you can trust The Lord to shield you. Put all your trust in The Lord knowing He will bring you out, pick you up, and turn your whole life around. I find safety under the feathers of The Lord, and I know once I am under His wing I trust and believe that everything will be alright. This is why I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for allowing me to find safety under your wings. Thank you for hiding me when the storms of life are blowing. Thank you for keeping me when trials come my way. Thank you for always being there for me, all my trust is in you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
