Refreshing

“For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” Jeremiah 31:25 (ESV)

We will all face some situations that will either drain us or energize us to keep going. Those situations that drain and weary us can cause us to want to throw in the towel because we feel like we cannot make it or take it any longer, and quitting seems better than pressing on. It is at the point of giving up that we should seek The Lord for strength to go the extra mile of our journey. Every valley and every mountain that we have had to climb The Lord has been right there with us making our steps sure and replenishing us when we are tired. The Scripture reminds us that, for I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish. I encourage you today that when you are weary and do not think you can make it, to allow The Lord to satisfy your weary soul, and give you what you need to make it through this season of your life. The Lord will replenish you and give you the strength that you need to hold on even when the road becomes rough. Giving up should never be an option for you, because the God you serve never gives up on you, and He is always there for you refreshing you along the way. When my soul is weary, The Lord satisfies me, and when I am sorrowful and I want to give up, He replenishes me with what I need to keep going in the path He has set for me. Since The Lord never gives up on me, I will never give up on Him and this is why I am confident, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for walking with me through the journey of life. Thank you for satisfying me with everything that I need and refreshing and restoring me to continue in the path that you have for me. Thank you for always being there for and with me Lord. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
