Pursue

"And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all." 1 Samuel 30:8

A little girl came to her mother distraught that she could not find her favorite toy. Her mother encouraged her to look in all the places she would normally play with her doll. The little girl looked and looked but could not find her favorite toy. With tears in her eyes, she thought that her beloved toy was lost forever. She decided to look in one last place, her little brother's room, to see if by chance it was in there. To her surprise under his bed was not only her favorite toy, but some of her other toys her little brother had been hiding from her. The little girl with joy showed her mother that she had found her toy. Each of us has lost some things and we give up looking for them quickly and count them as lost. The enemy has taken something from us and hid it in his camp, and we at times are too afraid to go after what was taken from us. The Scripture reminds us that David had lost everything, but he asked the Lord should he go after them, and the Lord replied pursue, for you shall surely recover all without fail. I encourage you today to pursue those things in your life that you thought were lost. Go after your lost dreams and goals that you have laid down to the side. Pursue your joy and your peace. Pursue those things that long ago you thought you would never get back. With The Lord on your side, you shall surely recover all without fail. Do not let anything or anyone stop you from pursuing the things The Lord has for you. You may have tears in your eyes now, but when you recover them all, your tears will turn to joy and gladness for what was lost is not found. I am thankful I can pursue and go after everything The Lord has for me, and I know as long as He is with me, without fail I shall recover all. Since I know that I will have everything that The Lord has for me, I am so confident, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord everything that you have for me I want, and no matter how difficult it may be I will pursue and go after it all, with you leading and guiding me. I will recover it all. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
