Promise Keeper

"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." Psalm 89:34
"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips." Psalm 89:34 We know exactly what to expect from some people, and are rarely surprised by their actions. If they say they will do something, we can expect it to be done, and there are others if they say they will do something we are not confident that it will get done. We also have committed to doing something, but we change our minds because of circumstances that arose. In our commitment to serve to The Lord we say we will serve, but when it becomes difficult, we find ourselves not serving in the capacity that we had promised to serve. There are some people we can count on and others we cannot, but we can always count on The Lord to be there for us. The Scripture reminds us that the Lord will not break His covenant, nor alter the thing that has gone out of His lips. I encourage you today to remember that if The Lord said He was going to do it, you can rest assure He will do what He said He would do. If The Lord said He would be there for you, He is not going to alter what He said that He would do. If The Lord promised you anything at all, He will do what He said He would do in your life. It may not look like it right now, but do not give up because The Lord always keeps His promises that He makes to you. People will promise you the moon and the stars but in reality, they cannot and will not deliver on their promises, not because they do not want to, but because they cannot. However, The Lord always keeps His covenant with you, and if He said it, He will not break or alter it, but will complete what He has promised to you. Trials will come, but stand on the promises of God for your life. Storms will come, but do not allow the storms to sway you, just hold on to what The Lord has spoken for your life. I am grateful that whatever The Lord has spoken out of His lips for my good ,He will not change or alter it, and I know the best is yet to come for me. Since I am standing on the promises of God, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for every promise that you have made to me. Thank you for every door you opened and every way you have made. Thank you for being so good to me. Thank you for being my promise keeper. Every word from your lips for my good and your glory, I am standing on in faith, knowing it shall come to pass, because you promised. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
