Preparing For A Blessing

“And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.” Luke 23:56

As we are coming to the end of this season of Lent. On tomorrow we will celebrate Resurrection Sunday. However, we can just imagine what was happening on the Saturday before Resurrection. The whole earth still and waiting in anticipation for God to show Himself mighty and strong. The Scripture reminds us that, they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandments. I encourage you today to prepare for the great things The Lord has for you. It is not just to prepare for breaking the fast, but prepare for what great things and blessings The Lord has in front of you. This time of fasting and praying has not been in vain. Just like the women left the cross that Friday and began to prepare because they knew something great was going to happen. I am grateful for all the blessings that The Lord has placed in my life, and with anticipation I am preparing my heart, soul, and mind for what God is going to do in my life. Since I am in preparation for the blessings, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Thank you, Lord, for this season of preparation. I look forward to the great and mighty things that you have in store for my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
