Praise Him
January 28, 2024
"And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God." Acts 3:8
If we take time to look back over our lives and realize all the great things The Lord has done for us, we would be amazed. The Lord blesses us every day in ways that we do not even think about. Each day The Lord wakes us up with breath in our bodies and with the activities of our limbs, and many days we take it for granted. As we reflect on His goodness, we should be able to see he multiplicity of blessings The Lord has poured into our lives, and when we think about it we should begin to thank and praise Him. The Scripture reminds us of a young man who was lame from birth an after having an encounter with Peter and John, he was healed by The Lord, and he did not turn and go home to show his family, but instead he went into the temple leaping and dancing and praising The Lord. I encourage you today as you prepare for worship to think of all the great things The Lord has done into your life, and when you enter the Sanctuary come in ready to worship, thank and praise God for all that He has done and is doing in your life. When you realize how great The Lord has been in your life, you should not allow anything to stop you from coming into His house and praising Him for His goodness. The Lord has taken care of you and your family, and that is a reason to praise His name. The Lord has opened doors for you, and that is a reason to praise His name. Every day He walks with you and talks with you and makes ways just for you, and that is more than enough reason to leap up and run to His house and praise Him for the many blessings He places in your life. I am so thankful for all the great things The Lord has done and is doing in my life and I will go into His sanctuary thanking and praising Him for His goodness and His mercy in my life. Since I will praise The Lord at all times, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for all the great and wonderful things you have done in my life. Thank you for the gift of today and thank you in advance for walking with me today. I will enter your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise, because you are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
