Please God

"When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." Proverbs 16:7

It does not make a difference how nice we may be, we are all going to have some people who do not like us. When we have enemies, they will try to do whatever they can do to defeat us at every turn. They will apply for the same job, live in the same neighborhood, as an attempt to get under our skin. There are times when they will pretend to be our friends so they can get close enough to hurt us. Since we all will have enemies, the Scripture remind us that when our ways please the Lord, He will make our enemies be a peace with us. I encourage you today to spend less time worrying and fighting your enemies, and more time pleasing The Lord. When your ways please The Lord you do not have to worry about those who are against you. When your ways please The Lord there will be doors opened for you that others have tried to shut in your face. When your ways please The Lord everything your enemy tries to do to you, will not work because your enemy will be at peace with you. If you want peace on your job from those enemies, ensure your ways are pleasing to The Lord, and you will have peace. It is so much better to please The Lord than to think about the enemy. Enemies will come and go, but The Lord will be with you forever, so please Him, and He will take care of your enemies. I will make sure my ways are pleasing to The Lord, and not worry about what the enemy may try to do, because I will have peace, because The Lord is on my side. Since my goal is always to please The Lord I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord you have been so good to me, and I want all my ways to be pleasing to you. As my focus is on you and not my enemies I know you are going to open doors for me that no one will be able to close. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
