Peace To Make It

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7 (ESV)

Each of us will experience our own series of ups and downs and storm clouds that will come in our lives. In those moments we should go to The Lord in prayer. When we go to The Lord, sometimes He will pull us out of the valley and other times He will not. When The Lord does not pull us out it does not mean He does not care about us, but it may mean that He has already given us what we need to make it through what we are facing. There are times when we should not ask The Lord to take us out because it is difficult, but instead we should ask Him to give us peace while we are in it. The Scripture reminds us that, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. I encourage you today to ask The Lord for the peace that surpasses all understanding. Ask The Lord to give you peace in your storms and trials. Ask The Lord to give you peace when you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Ask The Lord to give you peace when trouble comes your way, and when cannot figure out which way to go. Once you have the peace of God in your life, you will be able to handle the things that come your way. You may not always understand why you must face some things, but as long as you have the peace of God, you will make it. Since I have the peace of God working in my life, and it is guarding my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord storms, trials, tribulations, and a host of other things will rise in my life. I know that you are always there with me, and I am asking you to give me the peace that surpasses all understanding and the strength to make it through. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
