Peace In Stillness
January 09, 2024
"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:1
Many of us lead busy lives, we have projects that we are forced to leave undone because of the things that have popped up during the day. We have had those experiences when it was one thing right after another thing, and before we knew it, we were frustrated with everything that was on our plate. There comes a time when with all our running and going that we just need to take some time and rest and be still. In life we are going to have trials, tribulations, and storms come upon us and some of them will be overwhelming, and we will not know what to do, it is then we need to find our rest in The Lord. The Scripture reminds us that we should be still and know that He is God, and He will be exalted above the heathen. I encourage you today with all that you are facing to take some time and be still. Remember that God is God, and He will work everything out for you. When the storms of life come your way, do not panic and do not fret, just be still and know that He is God, and He has power over what you are going through. Instead of worrying about how something is going to work out, be still and know that God is God, and He will work everything out in your favor. Take some time today to just be still in the presence of The Lord and let Him give you peace about where He is taking you, and what He is doing in your life. When you are still before Him, He will give you what you need in your stillness to make it through your chaos. When my mind is racing and there is much to do, I will remember to be still and know that God is God, and He will work everything out in my favor and for my good. Since I will be still in the presence of The Lord, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord it is not easy to be still, but when the storms of life are raging, I will be still and remember that you are God. When chaos is all around me, I will not panic, but I will be still and remember that you are God. Thank you Lord for being my peace and my strength. In my stillness speak to my heart and give me everything I need to walk into my destiny. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
