Overcome With Good

"Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21

We will be faced with different situations that will cause us to react in a variety of ways. There are going to be some situations that we react well to, and others where we do not react so well. When something happens, at times we do not even think, we just react, and it is after we react that we have to deal with the consequences of our actions. When something negative happens, we should think before we act, but many times we do not have the time or opportunity and we just act, and before we know it we can be in a situation that we do not even really know how we got there. The Scripture reminds us that we should not be overcome with evil, but we should overcome evil with good. I encourage you today that no matter what it is you may be facing in your life always take the high road and overcome evil with good. It is easier said than done to overcome the negative with the positive, but when you do not stoop to their level you will be able to see the hand of God working on your behalf. When people do things intentionally to you, do not try to get them back but overcome it with good, do not be so quick to fly off the handle in every situation, but pray and ask The Lord to give you direction before you act. There are many ills in the world, and you will not be able to cure them all, but you will be able to respond to them all with love. When you can overcome evil with good, you are showing the love of Christ in every situation. No matter what I will overcome every situation I face in life with good, and will allow the love of Christ to be shown wherever I go, and through whatever I may face. Since I will overcome evil with good, I have no doubt "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord thank you for all you do for me. Thank you for your grace, favor, and mercy that you give to me every day. No matter what I face today help me to overcome it with good and love from you. Remind me that I am your ambassador on earth. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
