Order My Steps
December 09, 2023
"Let all things be done decently and in order." 1 Corinthians 14:40
When putting together a puzzle there is no real rules on how we put it together. Some people will start by trying to make sure they get all the edges first, while others will just start fitting pieces which look alike together. It really does not matter the technique used as long as the outcome is the same. There are some things that we put together that cannot be put together any kind of way there has to be a process, and if the process is not followed the desired outcome is in jeopardy of not being achieved. There are some who chose to live their lives haphazardly and will allow the chips to fall where they may, and others will want to have some structure and goals. As we journey through our Christian walk, we should want to have order to our walk and our lives as we strive to be who God has called us to be. The Scripture reminds us, let all things be done decently and in order. I encourage you today to make sure as you are on your Christian journey that you do all things decently and in order. God is not the author of confusion, and He does not want you in confusion. Take the time to see where The Lord wants you to go, and make sure you follow the path that He has set aside for you and follow it. It will not always be an easy path, but it will be the one that has order and structure to it. When you do things decently and in order you will be able to see The Lord's hand working in your situation. It is when things are out of order that you will find the chaos and confusion that you have tried to avoid. In everything that I do I want to make sure I am doing them decently and in order, so that The Lord may get the glory out of my life. Since I am following God's lead for my life, I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, lead and guide me to the places and spaces that you have designed for me. Order my steps and my stops along life’s journey. The path may not always be easy, but I know that you will lead me in decency and in order to my destiny. Thank you Lord for charting the path of my life for my favor and your glory. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
