Only For A Little While

“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” 1 Peter 5:10 (ESV)

We will all go through our shares of ups and downs. We will all go through some experiences that will be difficult and we will have to press and pray our way through. In these moments of trials, we will feel like we are fighting the wind and we are never going to come out of these situations, but in those moments we must remind ourselves that we are just going through a season and that despite the difficulties God is with us. The Scripture reminds us, after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. I encourage you today to remember that no matter what you are going through, it is only going to be for a little while. It may feel like you have been going through forever, but it will only be for a little while and while you are going through, remember that God has given you sufficient strength to make it out of what you are in. Even as you are going through, God’s grace is with you and He will restore, confirm, and strengthen you. Don’t give up because of the difficulties, but keep pushing forward and watch God work it all out for you. I know that no matter what I am going through, God is with me and His grace will keep me in the storms of life, and He will give me strength to make it through. Since I am going to press and pray with God on my side, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for keeping me and reminding me that no matter what I face, it is only for a little while. I know you will not give me more than I can handle and no matter how heavy it may be, you have given me sufficient strength to handle it all. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
