No Judgment
March 17, 2026
“For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.” Matthew 7:2 (ESV)
Some people will try to hold us to a higher standard than they hold themselves. They will expect more from us than they do themselves. There are even times when we hold people to a higher standard than we do ourselves. We want our children to do well, and we will push them more than we push ourselves. There are times we can look at people and unknowingly pass judgement on them, and ridicule them and put them down for the things they are doing or not doing. People pass judgement on us, even before they get to know who we are, and many times it is the wrong judgement they have of us. The Scripture reminds us for with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. I encourage you today to be careful how you look at other people and their situation. You never know what someone is going through, and it is important to show the love of God no matter what you think someone may be going through. When you look at people and draw conclusions about their situation or them before you know all the facts, God hold you to the same standard as you hold other people to. The same way you are a blessing to people, is the same way God will be a blessing you. Many times we want God to just pour out blessings upon us, but we do not want to be a blessing to anyone. When you see someone who is going through, do not judge them because you do not know what they have been through. When you see someone who is not doing right, do not judge them because what you are really doing is setting the standard for God to judge you. Be a blessing to someone today and God will be a blessing to you. I will try to see everyone the way God sees them, and will be a blessing to someone's life. Since I will not judge others but offer the same grace God has given me, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your grace and mercy that you give to me every day. Lord help me to extend that grace and mercy to others. Help me not to judge anyone because I don’t know their story. Help me to see others as you see them. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
