New Mercy
February 20, 2023
“This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness”. Lamentations 3:21-23
It is so important to remember that The Lord is good to us. It is only because of His mercy towards us that we are not consumed. It is only because of His mercy that that we are able to make it through any day. Mercy is the divine favor and compassion of God that we do not do anything to earn and we certainly do not deserve, but we should thank God for it each day. All the mercy that God gave yesterday we used it all yesterday, and we should thank God that this morning when we arose, He gave us a new supply of Mercy. The Scripture reminds us that, we should recall to our mind and therefore have hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is His faithfulness towards us. I encourage you today to thank God that you are not consumed but were given new mercy. Even when you are not faithful, The Lord is faithful and remember that already today The Lord has shown His compassion and faithfulness to you. Whatever this day brings or holds, you can make it because of His mercy and compassions for you never fail. As I go throughout this day I will remember Great Is Thy Faithfulness Lord Unto Me, and since I will remember His faithfulness towards me, I have no doubt, “This Is My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Lord I did nothing to deserve your mercy, but I thank you for your mercy towards me. Thank you for giving me new mercy today and every day. Lead and guide me through this day with your grace, mercy, and favor. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
