New Creation

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)

We all should be thankful for the change that Christ has made in our lives. Jesus died that we all might be saved, and because of His death and resurrection we have opportunity to live changed lives. If it had not been for The Lord, we would all be lost with no hope of redemption. For those of us who are saved we are walking as new people in Christ, and we should not allow anything or anyone to turn us back to who we were. The Scripture reminds us, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. I encourage you today to walk as the new creation that you are. You will be faced with some old challenges, but you cannot respond the way you used to respond, you must continue to trust Jesus to see you through. As a new creation in Christ, you must show God’s love wherever you go. Stand strong in every situation you face, remembering that you are not standing alone, but God is standing with you. As a new creation in Christ Jesus, you allow God’s love to shine through you, in order that others might see Christ and be saved. I am a new creation, and I am glad that God saved my life. Since I am walking a a new creation in Christ Jesus, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Lord, thank you for making me w anew creation in you. Thank you for saving me. Help me to be a credible witness to your grace, mercy, and love. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
