Never Too Far

Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me. Psalm 38:21

We know that God will not leave or forsake us. We know that God is there for us all the time, and no matter what situation we may find ourselves in The Lord is there for us. However, there are times when we feel like The Lord has left us, and The Lord has forsaken us, and we are all alone. We feel like everyone has abandoned us at the same time. We feel like we are going to have to handle this situation alone, and no one will be there to help us. David felt this way at one time in His life and instead of giving up on God, He talked to Him. The Scripture reminds us that David prayed forsake, me not, O Lord and my God be not far from me. I encourage you today to look to The Lord in prayer. No matter what it is you may be going through, remember The Lord will not forsake you, even if you feel like He has. You may feel like you are going through all by yourself, but remember The Lord is there for you. When the storms of life become too much to bear just lift your voice and ask The Lord to be there with you, and not to be far from you. The Lord is never far from you, He has promised He will stick closer to you than any brother. Trust The Lord to bring you through and out of every situation you face. I know no matter what it looks like The Lord will never forsake me and is always close to me. This is why I can confidently say, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for never being too far from me. Thank you for always seeing me through every circumstance I face. Thank you for holding my hand and walking me through those moments in life that I was afraid. Thank you for being my everything. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
