My Friend

“The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’” Luke 7:34 (ESV)

All of us have friends that we cannot rely on all the time. Then we have friends that we know that they are going to be there for us no matter the time day or night. Even when our friends cannot be there for us, we have a friend that is always there for us. No matter what anybody else thinks about us or says about us God will always be our friend. The Scripture reminds us that, the Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. I encourage you today that no matter where you find yourself in life, The Lord will always be your friend. No matter how hard you may fall, The Lord will always be your friend. Jesus ate with tax collectors and sinners because He came to seek those who were lost, and all of us at one time in our lives were lost. I am thankful that The Lord is my friend and no matter how low I may be in the valley or how many people have walked away from me, The Lord will always be my friend. Since I know that The Lord is always my friend I know for sure, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for being my friend all the time. No matter how low I may be in the valley, you are there. Thank you for always being by my side. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
