More Than Enough
January 06, 2024
"And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah." 1 Kings 17:16
It is increasingly difficult to operate and do things when we do not think or feel we have enough to get the job done. When we bring a piece from here and a piece from there just to make things work it can be frustrating. It is much easier to be able to do something when you know you have all that you need and more to get the job done. When we are feeling a sense of lack we struggle to complete the projects we are working on. It is even more frustrating when people say they are going to be there for us, and we find ourselves struggling by ourselves. No matter what it looks like and what we have or do not have, we can rest assure if The Lord is with us, we have more than enough to make it to the end. The Scripture reminds us that God promised Elijah and the widow that, the barrel of meal would not run out, and the cruise of oil would not fail. I encourage you today to stand on the word that The Lord has spoken for your life. If He said He would be there for you, then He will be there for you. If He said that He would open doors for you, He will open doors for you. If He said that He would make a way for you, then stand on the Word of The Lord, and know that He will do what He said He would do for you. People may not always be there for you, but you have the blessed assurance that The Lord is always there for you through it all. My barrel may not be overflowing, and my oil may not be running over the top, but because The Lord is with me, I have more than enough to make it to the place that God has for me. Since I am standing on the Word of The Lord for my life I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for always being there for me. Thank you that your supply for me never runs out. Thank you for always giving me enough and more to finish those things that you have called me to do. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
