Mercy

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." Matthew 5:7
Each day that The Lord allows us to see is not because we have been so good or we have done everything the right way, but it is only by His mercy and grace that we see a new day. Each day we make mistakes, each day we sin and fall short of the glory of God. In the midst of our mistakes and our shortcomings we have a God who still loves us and cares about us. We serve a God that has looked passed all our faults and still bless us. It is only because of The Lord's mercy and grace that we are where we are today. The same grace and mercy that The Lord extends to us, we should be able to extend to others who need our compassion and mercy, instead of our wrath. The Scripture reminds us that, blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. I encourage you to you show mercy to those who need some mercy, for in the same way you show mercy to someone, The Lord will show mercy to you. There is not a minute of any day that you do not need His mercy working in your life, so the same way you need His mercy, you must show mercy to others. Do not be so quick to condemn people, because The Lord was not quick to condemn you. Give people the benefit of the doubt as The Lord has always given you the benefit of the doubt. I cannot live one day without His mercy working in my life, and I know that I must show myself merciful in order to obtain His mercy. Since I will show mercy to others, I know God will show His mercy to me, this is why I am confident, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy. I know that I would not be able to make it one second without your grace and mercy. Help me to show your mercy to others and lead them to you who is all merciful. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
