Love Over Hate

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Mark 13:13

There are times when we will go out of our way to be nice or to help someone because it is the right thing to do. Then there are other times when we may not give help like we should because of who the person is and how we feel about them, but if we like a person or not we should never hate anyone. No one really wants to hate or be hated for any reason, because hate stirs up so many negative feelings and actions. God shows His love towards us each day in many ways as He blesses us with life. We show our love towards Him through our worship, reading His Word, and the way we treat people. As a result of our Father's love towards us, He pours out blessings into our lives. It can be those very blessings that may cause people not to like us or even hate us. The Scripture reminds us that, you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. I encourage you today to show the love of God wherever you go, and to all you shall meet. Do not be concerned when people dislike you because of the great things that The Lord is doing in your life. When you allow their feelings towards you to affect what you do or how you act, you miss showing God's love to them. You cannot control how people feel about you, but you can control how you show God's love to all people. When people hate you they will try to put all types of roadblocks and hurdles in your way, but you keep going towards the blessings that The Lord has for you, and in the end you will have the victory. Do not give up because of what people say or think about you, endure to the end, and see the great things The Lord has in store for your life. I want everyone to like me, and I know that will not always be possible, but it will not stop me from loving them, and pressing towards the great blessings God has just for me. Since I will endure to the end no matter what I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord thank you for loving me and always blessing me. Even when I am hated I will never stop pressing towards the goals that you have for my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
