Look Up

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” Psalm 121:1

As we begin a New Year there are new possibilities and hopes that we have for 2024. There are things that we want to accomplish this year that we did not accomplish last year. There are places we want to go this year that we did not get to go to last year. There are goals that we want to achieve this year that we did not achieve last year, and as we strive to reach these goals, we must remember that we cannot do it alone, but we must trust and rely on God. As we attempt to reach our goals and dreams this year there are going to be challenges that come our way, and when the challenges come, we must remember that God is with us, and He will help us. The Scripture reminds us, that we can look to the hills from where our help comes from. I encourage you today and this year to never stop looking up. All the help you need comes from The Lord. Do not allow the challenges you face to intimidate or stop you from moving forward in the direction and path the God has for you. When trials come, look up. When the storms come this year, look up. When life gets rough, look up to where your help comes from. No matter what I face in this new year, I am determined to make it through, because I will consistently look up to God for my help. Since I am trusting God in all things, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for bringing me into a new year. I know that there will be challenges, but I also know that you are with me always. In my good and bad days, I will look up because I know all my help comes from you. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
