Look To Jesus
April 15, 2023
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2
Each of us has a go to person when we need help with something. Our go to person is the one we know we can rely on, and we can call them day or night. No matter how reliable our go to person may be there are times when they just cannot be there and we will need to find help somewhere else. Before we go to anybody, we should always go to The Lord first, because He is always there for us and can handle everything we face. The Scripture reminds us that we should look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. I encourage you today that no matter what it is you are facing you can always look to Jesus who is the author and the finisher of your faith. Let Jesus be your primary go to person, because when you can go and look to Him, He already knows what is ahead of you and has already made a way for you. Since Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith and He went to the cross for you, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God interceding for you, trust Him to see you through. Do not wait until everything and everyone else fails you to go to Jesus, go to Him first and often having faith in Him to guide you in all things. I am thankful that Jesus is the author and finisher of my faith, and He knows all about me, and will always give me what I need, when I need it. I am thankful that He endured the cross for me, and I know He is interceding daily on my behalf and this is why I am confident, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Thank you Jesus for always being there for me. Thank you for being the author and the finisher of my faith and my story. Thank you for keeping and blessing me always. I look to you in all things. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
