Look To Jesus

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

As we begin another week, there are going to be some things that we are going to be faced with that we cannot handle on our own. We may seek advice from those who have been there before or from those who we know can help and guide us in the right direction. There will also be some things that we face this week that we will not know what to do and those we seek advice from will not know what to do either. It is in moments like this that we remember that we can go to The Lord and He will lead and guide us in the right direction. The Scripture reminds us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. I encourage you today to look to Jesus. When things are going well, look to Jesus. When things are falling apart around you, look to Jesus. In every situation and circumstance you face, look to Jesus. Jesus is the author and the finisher of your faith. He is the one who is writing your story, and He knows every chapter of your life, and when you have faith in Him, He will direct your steps to the places and spaces that He has for you. In all that I go through, I am determined to look to Jesus, who is the author and finisher of my faith. Since I will trust Jesus who writes my story to lead and guide me to my great destiny in Him, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for being the writer of my story. Thank you for how you lead and guide me through every chapter of my life. I trust you Lord and I know you will bring me through all things. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
