Lift Up Your Head

“Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.” Psalm 24:7 (ESV)

There are going to be days when we will be so heavy burdened that it will be difficult to lift our heads. There are times when we go through some things that make us walk around with our heads down, but we must remember that when we have God on our side, there is no reason or need to have our heads down. The Scripture reminds us, lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. I encourage you today that no matter what you are going through, to lift up you head. No matter how much weight is on your shoulders, lift up your heads. No matter how many trials you are facing, lift up your heads. No matter what the doctor’s report may say, lift up your head, and when you lift up your head, the King of gory will come in. When the King of glory comes in, trouble, trials, storms, sickness, pain, heartache, and everything else has to leave. There is something powerful about being able to lift your head up in the face of what you are going through. Don’t let what you are facing keep you from getting through it. No matter how difficult it may be, lift up your head. Through all my trials and tribulations I will lift up my head. In my good and bad days, I will lift up my head and when I do, the King of glory will come in and turn my situation around. Since I need the King of glory working in my life, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for always being there for me. Help me to lift up my head even when I want to hang it down. Help me to stand in the power of your strength in every situation I may face. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
