Lift Up Your Head

“And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord.” Psalm 27:6 (ESV)

No matter what we do we are going to have enemies. We are going to have those who for whatever reasons do not like us and will do whatever they deem necessary to make us fall. When we have enemies who are constantly on the attack, it can weigh on us and cause us to become down and discouraged. We must remember The Lord is with us, no matter what our enemies try to do to us. The Scripture reminds us my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord. I encourage you today to remember not to allow anything to cause you to have your head down. Do not let the things you face have you walking around with your head down. Do not allow what people try to do to and say about you cause you to walk around with your head down. Now that you know that The Lord is always with you, lift up your head in the face of your enemies and offer unto The Lord the sacrifices of joy. When they are talking about you, sing praises to The Lord. When they are trying every trick in the book to make you fall, sing praises to The Lord, and He will bring you through, stronger, wiser, and better. I will keep my head lifted up in the presence of my enemies and will sing with joy praises unto the Lord my God. Since I will keep my head lifted up, and praises in my mouth, I know without a doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"

Prayer:

Lord, you are a great and wonderful God who never leaves or forsakes me. Thank you Lord for not allowing my head to be down, but always giving me reasons to lift up my head and glorify you and give you praise continually for being great and wonderful in my life. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
