Lift Up Your Head
January 22, 2026
"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in." Psalm 27:7
There are so many things in life that have the potential of weighing us down, there are so many circumstances and situations that come up in life that try to throw us off the path we are on. There are times in life when it can seem to be one thing right after another, one trial right after another trial, and just when we seem to get it all together and get up enough strength to handle what we are going through then another storm is on the horizon. All these things are enough to make us want hang our head and give up. All these things are enough to make us feel like no matter what we try we are defeated. We are not defeated as long as we have Christ in our life. I encourage you today to remember you are a child of God and you are not defeated you are already victorious in Christ. Lift up your head; do not walk around with your head down looking like you have lost everything. Lift up your head and know no matter how it looks right now, your situation nor your circumstances has the final say, God has the final say for your life. Lift up your head and when you lift up your head even when you are going through, The King of Glory shall come in your life. When The King of Glory comes in your life you will know you have hooked up to a power source that will turn your life around. God will not let you fall, He is always there for you, in your good and bad days, and through everything you face in life God is there for you. So, as you go throughout your day and things seem to start weighing you down, simply lift up your head and let The King of Glory come into your situation. I thank God I can lift my head even when I feel like crying and giving up, because the King of Glory is in my life, and this is why I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for always being there for me. When the weight of the world seems heavy on my shoulders, I know that I can lift up my head and you will come and see about me. Thank you Lord for loving me unconditionally and always. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
