Liberty
August 02, 2023
"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Corinthians 3:17
One of the greatest things we have is freedom. Freedom to go where we want, sit where we want, and basically do what we want. These freedoms have not come easy. There were those who fought and died for the freedoms we have today. There are times where we take these freedoms for granted because we didn’t have to fight for them ourselves. Our fore-parents fought long and hard for the things we are able to freely do today. The freedom that we have in the Spirit is because Christ died that we might be free. The Scripture reminds us, now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. I encourage you today to remember that Christ died to set you free. When He died and went back to take His seat at the right hand of God, He did not leave us alone, but sent us the Holy Spirit to lead and comfort us. Since we now have the Holy Spirit with us, we should always remember where the Spirit is there is liberty and freedom. Do not ever take your freedom in the Spirit for granted. You have to walk in the freedom which the Spirit gives you every day. You do not have to allow things, people, circumstances, or situations you may be going through to bind you, remember you are free in the Spirit and you have access to The Lord through your freedom. The Spirit of God dwells in you and you are fee from the things that try to bind you. Do not allow your present situation to rob you of your freedom in the Spirit. Do not allow the things you are going through to corrupt your worship. Do not allow the storms of life to wash away your praise. Do not allow so called friends to steal your joy, you are free today and every day. The Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of The Lord is there is liberty, embrace your spiritual freedom today. Because I know the Spirit of The Lord is in me and with me, and I am free I have no doubt, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord thank you for paying the price so I can be free. Thank you for allowing me to walk in the freedom that I have in you, and because you died for me I have liberty. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
