Learning To Wait
June 20, 2023
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!” Psalm 37:7 (ESV)
We may not always know what God is doing or why God does what He does, or the way He does it, but we have faith and trust in the fact that God knows all things. Even when we may not know what God is doing, we still place all our trust in Him, knowing that He will always lead and direct us to the places that He has for us. There are times when we want God to hurry up and do something, but God’s plan is on His time, and we must learn to wait patiently for Him. The Scripture reminds us to, be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! I encourage you today to wait patiently before The Lord. Don’t worry about what anyone else is doing or not doing. It may seem like those who do not serve The Lord are making out better than you, but keep trust and waiting. Remember the promises that God has made for your life, and wait on Him to bring them to pass for you. God never breaks His promises, you just need to be willing to wait. I have learned how to wait patiently on The Lord. I have learned that God has perfect timing and there is no need to me to worry when I know The Lord is going to work it out in my favor. Since I know The Lord will keep all His promise to me, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”
Prayer:
Lord thank you for being the great promise keeper. Thank you for always being on time for me. I am learning how to wait patiently for you, because I know you will come through for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
