Know Him For Yourself

“What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.” Mark 1:24 (ESV)

Who is God to you? There will be a variety of answers to this question depending on who you ask. For some they may answer that He is one they pray too, for others they answer and say that He is their higher power. Many people will have many different answers to that question, but everyone will have an answer to who God is to them. Rather they believe or not, they have an opinion of who God is. Even demons know who God is. The Scripture reminds us that the demons said to Jesus, what have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are- the Holy One of God. I encourage you today to know who God is for yourself. You may have seen how good He has been to your mother or other family members, but you must know Him for yourself. You may have seen the ways that He has made for others, but you must know Him for yourself. I am so grateful that I know God for myself, and no matter where I am or what I go through, I will never forget who The Lord is to me. Since I know who God is for myself, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Thank you, Lord, for meeting me at my point of need. Thank you for always being there for me and thank you for allowing me to know you for myself. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
