Keep Trusting

“When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” Psalm 27:2

There are people in our lives that no matter what is going on we know without a doubt they are in our corner. They will be there for us through thick and thin and will do all they can do to help us and we are also there for them. Then there are those who we are not sure about, but we know they are not going to intentionally try to harm us. Conversely, there are those who will do all they can do to try to stop, block, and hinder everything we try to do. They are there to sing the chorus of negativity at any progress we try to make. It is easy to become angry with people like this because it seems that they make it their life’s work to try to bring us down. It is also easy to have the inclination to want to strike back and defend ourselves, but we must remember that it will not help us to attack them, but instead pray for them and trust that The Lord will work it out in our favor. The Scripture reminds us that, when the wicked, even our enemies and our foes, came upon us to eat up our flesh, they stumbled and fell. I encourage you today to trust The Lord no matter what anyone tries to do to you. Trust The Lord when your enemies are coming against you to eat up your flesh. Trust The Lord when a host is encamped around you and does not mean you any good. Trust The Lord when the wicked are being wicked, and have the faith in The Lord that He will cause all that come against you to stumble and fall. You do not have to set traps or play tricks on those who are trying to cause you harm, just keep serving The Lord and know that no matter what they try to do to you, it will not work on you, because The Lord is with you. When the wicked even my enemies come against me to eat up my flesh, I will not fear, because my trust is in The Lord, and He will cause them to stumble and fall. Since my focus is not on my enemies, but on The Lord, I have no doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord all my trust is in you. You are my shield and my hope. NO matter what anyone plots against me I know that your plans for my life are great and will all come to pass. Give me the strength to stand through it all. In Jesus Name Amen.
