Keep Running
May 21, 2026
“You were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?” Galatians 5:7 (ESV)
Life is full of ups and downs, hills that we must climb and hurdles we must go over. In the race of life, we are running a marathon and not a sprint. If we run life like a sprint, we find out very quickly we do not have enough energy to make it to the end. Then there are times when we are doing well, everything is going well, then all of a sudden something happens and it seems like we are just stuck where we are. We let things, people and problems keep us from moving on in life, and the hinder our progress towards what God has for us. The Scripture reminds us you were running well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? I encourage you today not to let anything hinder you from getting to the place God has for you. Many people will try to stop or block you because they do not agree with the direction God has you going in your life, but you have to remember they are not the in control of your life. When you allow God to be in complete control of your life, He will direct you to the place He is leading you. Do not let anything hinder you from getting to the place God has for you. Do not let anything block your blessing. When you are hindered from moving it is difficult to get back up and start all over again, but when you keep going in spite of what it looks and feels like, God will give you the strength to keep going. I am going to keep going no matter what people say or think and no matter what it looks like I am going to keep going because I will not let anything stop what God is doing in my life. Since I am going to run no matter how difficult it becomes, I know for sure, "It's My Year To Get My Thing From My God!"
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for giving e the strength to run the race you have before me. Help me to navigate the roadblocks, hurdles, and hinderances in the way so I can get to the place you have for me. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
