Just Ask

“You have given him his heart's desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah” Psalm 21:2 (ESV)

Each of us have people in our lives that we love, and we want the best for them, and we will try to give them our best. The same way we love those in our lives The Lord loves us and He wants to give us His very best. Most of us have encounter a time when we knew someone wanted something from us, but they just did not know how to ask. We do the same thing to The Lord we come to Him and beat around the bush, and He knows exactly what we want, and He is just waiting for us to ask Him so He can give it to us. The Scripture reminds us that the Lord will give us our heart's desire and will not withhold the request of our lips. I encourage you today to take everything to The Lord in prayer and ask The Lord for what you want. It does not make a difference what it is, take it to Him in prayer. Prayer changes things, and it can change you, do not be afraid to ask The Lord for what you want. You may think The Lord does not want to, or is not willing to grant your request, but the Lord loves you and He wants to give you the desires of your heart. When you are dedicated and committed to The Lord, there is not one request coming from you He will hold back. Pray when things are good, and pray when things are not so good. Pray when you think you know how things will work out, and pray when you have no clue how things are going to work out. I am thankful that The Lord answers my prayers and His love for me is everlasting. I know I can ask The Lord for the desires of my heart, and He will give them to me in His time this, this is why I can confidently say, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord thank you for always hearing me when I pray. Thank you for answering my prayers and giving me what I need, when I need it, and how I need it. You are great and I will always praise your name. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
