It’s Good To Be In His Presence

“But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.” Psalm 73:28 (ESV)

People have many reasons why they try to get close to someone. It can be for help in an area of their lives that they need help or maybe they try to get close to someone because they believe being seen with them will gain them so sort of advantage in life. Whatever the reason someone has to press their way into someone’s presence for them in must be important. The most important person we should be trying every day to get closer to is God. Every day we should do what we have to do to press our way into His presence and be closer to Him. The Scripture reminds us, but for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all your works. I encourage you today to get in the presence of God. It is in His presence that you will find all you need and more. It is in His presence that you will be kept and covered from all that tries to come against you. Once you find your peace in His presence you will be able to testify of His love and goodness to others and encourage them to press their way to be in His presence. Every day it is good for me to be near God. There is not a day that I don’t need to be in His presence, and because I am near to Him every day I can testify of His greatness and love. Since I am near God every day I know without a doubt, “It’s My Year To Get My Thing From My God!”

Prayer:

Lord, I need to be in your presence every day. I need to feel you near me because I cannot make it without you near me and me near you. Thank you Lord for allowing me to be in your presence and to experience all that you have for me. Thank you for covering me, thank you for loving me. I love you Lord. In Jesus Name Amen.
